Welcome to Korea, Sparkling!…Not

November 5, 2010

It was really disgusted to get this kind of news from Korea.  Is Korea still in 60’s and 70’s era?  The paper saying that drawing on public signboards is an offense in Korea in which the offender receives a fine.  I would believe it would be same for many countries that many offenders charged with vandalism by paying do not face jail time.  Although an arrest-warrant request was rejected by a local court, Seoul Metropolitan Police requested a warrant for the college lecturer’s arrest, arguing that it was a conspiracy to obstruct the G-20 summit.

By Jang Bong-kun

In the upper panel, a college lecturer paints a mouse on the signboard promoting the G-20 Summit in Seoul in front of Lotte Department Store in Myeongdong, Seoul.

A policeman spots him and calls to report the scene, saying, “Someone is drawing on the sacred promotional material for the G-20!”

In the lower panel, an agent part of the illegal surveillance of civilians gives an order on his daepo phone, unregistered phone, saying, “Request a warrant for arrest!”

The lecturer reportedly said that he drew a mouse to satirize the Lee Myung-bak government’s fixation on the G-20 summit. The letter ‘G’ sounds similar to the Korean word gwi, mouse, and President Lee has been called “Gwi Myung-bak” by the opponents.

It just ridiculous response by the police!  See how citizen’s response to this incident, that’s your lesson 2MB “Gwi” admin.

WTF! Christians attack on Buddism

October 28, 2010

There was a religious terror, yes it was a terror on my perspective, on a Buddhist temple, Bongeun-sa (봉은사), in the Gangnam area of Seoul.  A Group of students from the Church Equipping Worship School (찬양인도자학교) recently went to Bongeun-sa praying for the treading down of a temple.

“This place will be demolished and God will win it back….Useless idols here made me really sad,” a twisted-religious cult said in the clip.

Reverend Choi Ji-ho leads those students from the Church Equipping Worship School to Bongeun-sa to make formal apology on Oct. 27. I doubt it was a sincere apology from their heart.  Nor this attack would stop these insane religious cult people doing same disrespectful attack on Buddhism or any other religions.   News are popping up that this kind of religious attack also been practiced in Dongwha-sa as well as in a temple in Myanmar.

Are they really believe in Jesus? Or their Jesus is different from mine?  Okay, so maybe not Jesus, Jesus probably pretty swamped with all other stuffs.   Religion starts from comprehension and appreciation of others, you idiots.

The Ambassador “Biggest Dick!?” rejected from Saudi Arabia

February 4, 2010

According to FP, A distinguished Pakistani diplomat, Akbar Zeb, could not receive accreditation as Pakistan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia. Not because of his credentials but because of his name which translates to “Biggest dick” in Arabic: Direct from FP,

“In Saudi Arabia, size does count.

A high level Pakistani diplomat has been rejected as Ambassador of Saudi Arabia because his name, Akbar Zib, equates to “Biggest Dick” in Arabic. Saudi officials, apparently overwhelmed by the idea of the name, put their foot down and gave the idea of his being posted there, the kibosh.”

Oh, man! Who can he blame? It’s all because of we “Mankind” decided to build the Tower of Babel.

Asking for pay to volunteer in Haiti? What the F***!

January 27, 2010

According to CBC News, Quebec Health Minister Yves Bolduc is evaluating a request by some of orthopedic doctors that they be reimbursed $704 per day by the province for volunteer work in devastated Haiti where thousands of thousands people were killed from massive earthquake.

The vice-president Dr. Louis Bellemare for the Quebec’s association of orthopedists said…

“The doctors who are in Haiti will stay, regardless of whether the government agrees to reimburse them,… But if they were paid the $704 base fee they normally receive in Quebec, they might stay longer and more doctors might decide they could afford to go, he added.”

Isn’t it clear matter to everyone that if they were ORDERED, like Canadian Forces and search-and-rescue teams, to go down to Haiti by the government then they should be paid. If they VOLUNTEERED to go without being asked they should not be paid.

Comments section are flooding with angers on these doctors and some comments are even escalating this issue to the Quebec bashing level.

And this comments highlighted me

“For $700 a day, I’d “Quebec volunteer” anywhere on this planet under whatever conditions were required by me.”

The Former Korean President “Roh” makes confession

April 7, 2009

The former Korean president Roh confessed.  Following the arrest of a key aide, Chung Sang-moon for accepting a bribe, former President Roh Moo-Hyun (Nom Hyun), admitted his wife Kwon Yang-sook received money from Park Yeon-cha, a Busan-based businessman whose confession to a massive network of bribery has shaken the nation over the past months.

Roh posted the statement at 3:28 p.m. April 7th, 2009 on his Web site admitting;

“I want to make public something in advance, Right now, Chung Sang-moon, former Blue House secretary, is being questioned on charges of receiving money from Park. I am concerned that Chung might have testified that he had actually done so. The accusation should be directed toward us, not Chung. My home made the request, received money and used it. We have done so because we still had outstanding debts. I will face legal action in accordance with the case. I apologize again. April 7, 2009.  Roh Moo-Hyun”

*“My home” is referring his wife, taking into account the common usage of the word in the Gyeongsang region, Korea.

So Roh Moo-hyun admitted that he and his wife Kwon Yang-sook took the money because of “outstanding debts.” Didn’t he had enough power to raise money by giving lectures to his supporters so called Roh (No) PPA?

I will elaborate on the details to prosecutors and face legal action in accordance with the case,” he said.

Yes, Mr. Roh, Nom-hyun, you should be punished for his bribery as he admitted that his wife “Received” money not “borrowed” money from Park. Your CLEAN legacy has officially ended!

Roh PpaIt’s also amazing to see his supporters, Roh Ppa 노빠, react on his confession at discussion board from his website.   It’s almost like N Korean praising Kim Il sung or KJI.  Stupid Roh ppa 노빠들!

It’s been a long time to see conservative and progressive press view this incident in almost same! Which I interpreted “Shame on you Nom Hyun!”

From the Hankyoreh –  Roh’s clean legacy launching failure

“Former President Roh Moo-hyun has failed to launch himself into a stable, post-presidency orbit because the projectile he and others are riding in was launched by Park Yun-cha. Having witnessed their own failures in leaving a legacy of a clean administration, the country’s former living presidents Kim Dae-jung, Kim Young-sam, Roh Tae-woo, and Chun Doo-hwan declare, “Sure enough, it’s a failure.” (Hankyoreh Geurimpan, 8 April 2009)
